Appointing of the CEO Bylaw
The purpose of Bylaw 971 is to have the public elect a council of seven at the general election and that council would then appoint a mayor from amongst themselves, reappointing the position at each annual organization meeting.

A Public Hearing for Bylaw 971 will be held on
Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at 7:00 pm
at the Town of Spirit River Council Chambers (4502 50 Street, Spirit River).

Bylaw 971 can be viewed at the Town Administrative Office during normal office hours. Anyone wishing to speak at the Public Hearing is invited to attend. Written submissions will be received until noon on February 14, 2020.
